1. Security of transcripts
   Due to the sensitive nature of recordings and transcripts, we take privacy very seriously and make it our primary concern for all our clients.

All customer transcription files (recordings and transcriptions) are encrypted using an encryption key. Vook does not hold the encryption keys and has no access at any time to this data. Only the customer has access to it.

If the customer so wishes, when creating an account, he can save his encryption key on Vook.ai's servers. Vook undertakes to keep this key confidential, and commits not to use it to access the customer's files without the customer's agreement.

If the customer wishes to keep his encryption key himself, Vook will not have access to it and will therefore not have access to his data at any time. Only the customer will have access.

The customer may decide to send the transcript to Vook's customer service department for feedback on the quality of the service. In this case, a deciphered version of the transcript will be sent to customer service, for the purpose of improving the service.

The customer may decide to request a summary of the transcript via GPT. In this case, a deciphered version of the transcript will be sent to the ChatGPT API to be automatically summarized.

No client transcription files (recordings and transcriptions) will ever be sent in deciphered version to our services or to a third-party service, without a request from the user in one of the above cases.

2. Customer account data
   Vook ensures that all customer account data (email address, billing address,...) remain private and confidential. Access is strictly limited to our employees and contractors on a need-to-know basis. All employees and contractors are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before being allowed access to the data.

3. Cookies
   A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from our servers and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to keep you logged in while using our services.

4. Information Sharing
   Vook does not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties under any circumstances. We may, however, disclose personal information when we believe there is a violation of our terms of service or when it is appropriate to comply with the law, to protect our rights or those of our users, and to protect our users from fraudulent, abusive, and illegal use of our site. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information if required to do so by law and if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on our website.

5. Changes
   Vook will notify its customers by email of any material changes to this policy.

Please contact us if you detect a breach of your account or any unauthorized use. You may also delete your account from the settings page at any time. You may be required cancel any outstanding orders or services.
